My name is Adamo Boccitto and I am 18 years old currently attending Seneca at York for graphic design. Art  and design has always been in my life. Ever since I can remember I was drawing. Of course, it started off as a hobby which then engulfed my life. Throughout my elementary years, my grades and sketching would never go hand-in-hand. Sometimes I would be in detention for producing more drawings than completing my homework. I would draw everything, from cars to characters I would make up in my head. During my high school years, drawing was on a hold. I no longer had time for sketching since my imagination would lead me to bigger ideas which took time. I was still very involved in the arts though. I was learning Photoshop, Illustrator and a ton of design philosophy. But I missed drawing. I forced myself to get back in the swing of things. That’s when I realized that I wanted to become a graphic designer. All my drawings were all about conveying messages and ideas. In grade 12, I started to attend Façade Academy. With the help of Mina Spremulli, I was able to push myself and create professional art pieces. Not only did I surpass my previous art skills, but I was creating art work that I never thought I was capable of doing. At Façade, I created a portfolio that got me excepted into Seneca at York. In the future, I plan on working in the auto industry either in advertisement or designing cars.
