Studying the arts has always been a true passion of mine and has led me to the infinite possibilities of architecture. I have been under the direct mentorship of Mina Spremulli at Façade Academy, where I continued to learn and specialize in various techniques. I have gained much experience and exposure working side-by-side with Mina, she has always been a great support, providing me with true leadership skills and qualities. Currently I am apprenticing with Mina, assisting her to instruct students and perform the roles of Assistant Creative Director at the Academy. These experiences and opportunities have led me to expand my business network and continue to pursue my dreams and find employment amongst reputable employers within the industry.

I am currently majoring in Architectural Science at Ryerson University. My interest in architecture comes from my love of design, history and travel. The Architectural Science Program has provided me with many skills that I have and continue to use within employment opportunities. I have gained much knowledge in multiple design platforms, such as: construction drawings, architectural models and computer aided design. The design programs I have much experience with are: Auto Cad (2D & 3D), Revit, Rhino, Artlantis, Sketchup, Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design.

I have worked as a design associate for the Physical Network Distribution team at RBC, Royal Bank. I assisted in the preparation of construction drawings and the creative development of design reports. My responsibilities also included; composing Design Sample Boards for the Proof of Concept, ‘Retail by Design’ Branches, managing the project test site as well as the coordination of working drawings and Design Team Meetings. Working in the industry has given me the opportunity to focus on where I would like to be in the future. I have also assisted at the AFV Network, York Region monthly business-networking events. Through AFV I have had the opportunity to meet many professionals in the arts industry. Volunteer work has become an important part of my involvement in the community. I have volunteered on construction sites for Habitat for Humanity, working with a large group to build homes for families in need.

In the near future I expect to continue my education in architecture by obtaining my Masters Degree. I have also developed an interest in production design. I look forward to seeking out the next great opportunity.
