Celina Benigno began formal training in Fashion Design at the age of 12. Since then, she has completed various certificate courses in pattern drafting, sewing techniques, draping, and visual art. She attended St. Elizabeth Catholic High School, where she was accepted into the Regional Arts Program for Visual Arts. In total she completed 8 specialty art credits. During her high school career, Celina’s art work was featured in student art shows, Illuminati and Voices. Under the guidance of Mina Spremulli at Façade Academy, Celina participated in the annual Starlight Children’s Foundation Gala event, where she was paired up with hockey legend, Brian Trottier. She created an art piece that reflected both the charity, and the player, the art piece was auctioned off and Celina was awarded for her participation and accomplishment. Celina attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, in the Fall of 2011, where she majored in Fashion Design. Currently she continues her education and is now working toward her degree in Communication studies.
