Dog Sledding Tours

Experience unforgettable dog sledding tours at facilities near Orillia, Ontario, less than two hours from downtown Toronto!
Upon arrival at the kennel you'll make you way to their heated reception building, where your dog sledding experience will begin with your guide providing an orientation session covering the dogs, the sleds, the trails and important safety issues. Immediately following this you'll be introduced to your four to six dog team and everyone gets involved in harnessing the dogs and hooking up the teams to the sleds...and then it is off to the trails for your dog sledding experience! Ice Climbing

Can you imagine yourself climbing the Khumba Icefall on Mount Everest? Luckily, you don’t have to go to Nepal for some excellent ice climbing. Within a couple of hours of Toronto, you’ll find some of the most astounding ice in Southern Ontario. Hack your way up an icefall with ice axes and dig your crampons into the blue ice. On this course you will learn to tie into the rope, belay, proper uses of crampons and ice axes, and ice climbing technique.
