Photos have been circulating showing the super villian couple of the Joker (played by Jared Leto) and Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) in outlandish costumes and make-up, taking an updated spin on the classic characters.

Forgoing Heath Ledger’s  Joker’s iconic straggly hair and painted on smile, Leto’s take on the character includes almost a full set of platinum teeth, red lipstick and tattoos covering his body. He also bulked up for the role and died his hair the classic Joker green.

Some elements from Heath Ledger’s Joker are still included, like the pasty-white make-up and the black eye effects, but its a different look from Ledger’s madman costume design: Leto’s is decidely more street-style, hip and tattooed to match his girlfriend Harley Quin’s playful look.
