Now that we have covered all of the “important” information… let’s talk Red Carpet!

As much as everyone hates to admit it,
we ALL watch the Stars strut their stuff
whether it be in something we love…
…errr something that we’d love to burn.

Here are OUR picks for the Best and Worst dressed of the evening:

All of these ladies executed their looks perfectly. From head-to-toe they were the epitome of
modern-day Hollywood glam! Bravo ladies.

I think it’s safe to say four Hollywood stylists are out of work. Poor decisions lead to poor press.

And now presenting the YIKES awards…

And the award for the most awkward accessory goes to…
Kristen Stewart

Our Favorite Special Appearances

William Shatner, Barbara Streisand, Ted, and The First Lady Michelle Obama all left us
with a laugh or a breath of fresh air.

Now for the Highlights.. and well, lights-out moments…

Jennifer Lawrence was so overwhelmed and excited to win the award for Best Actress In a Leading Role that she also obtained the Most Graceful Fall Award. Once picking herself up she thanked the audience for their standing ovation, making a joke by saying they only stood up because they felt bad that she fell.

Aside from all the drama surrounding Anne Hathaway‘s Red Carpet gown decision… She looked ravishing when she appeared on stage for her brilliant performance with her fellow cast members of Les Mis.

Though everyone seemed to be pretty much downright offended from 99% of the jokes made by Academy Awards Host Seth MacFarlane, there was one which we found to be tasteful and quite humorous. MacFarlane called out “Silver Linings Playbook” star Jennifer Lawrence, who had joked at the Golden Globes that she beat Meryl Streep for Best Actress.

“Whether I win or lose, it’s an honor Meryl Streep wasn’t nominated,”
an apparent quote taken from Lawrence.

With all of the dress drama
(Valentino Vs. Hathaway), unnecessary play-out music (Jaws Theme), success stories
(Ben Affleck speech), inappropriate jokes/ songs (MacFarlane’s “Boob Song”), and Canadian representation (Life of Pi & Argo) we can’t wait to see what next year’s Academy Awards show has in store!
