Policies and Procedures

  • Camp packages MUST be paid for up-front & in advance in order to secure your spot
  • We DO NOT hold camp dates and/or spots without full payment in advance
  • There are NO REFUNDS on paid camp registration.
  • Under any circumstance, government policy or act of god, if our camp is cancelled for reasons out of our control, a REFUND is NOT applicable. Under these circumstances a credit will be issued for the full amount of registration and ONLY under these circumstance will the credit be applicable for one full year, starting from the date of registration and can be applied toward any camp, any general arts program or merchandise. It WILL NOT however be applicable toward specialized programs, workshops or private classes.
  • Refunds unrelated to government closures or acts of God must be requested one month prior to the start date of March camp. Refunds may take up to four weeks to process. No exceptions. Cancellations after February 1 will only be applicable for a credit with a doctors note and subject to $100 administration fee, per camp session/package, per child. There are NO REFUNDS for cancelling camp after February 1, even with one or two weeks notice prior to your camp session, once payment has been received.
  • We DO NOT offer a pay as you go option.

Camp Preparation Information

  • Those who have not signed: the registration form, payment slips, policies and health forms in FULL, do not have a secure spot within camp. Please ensure you have completed everything required otherwise your child will not be permitted to join the camp.
  • Those with allergies that require epi-pens must clearly label it with the child's full name and hand it to the instructor upon entry to the studio. WE MUST know where it is at all times and it MUST be easily accessible. We have never encountered any issues in the past and we assure you that we make every effort to ensure our students are safe, but we cannot guarantee this moving forward as there are many circumstances that can occur that are out of our control.
  • Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes because the campers will be doing art which may get messy at times as well as participating in fitness classes, dance parties and talent shows.
  • Camp starts at 9am. Morning drop off is at 8:50am, any earlier and students will be charged for our extended hours program.

  • Campers MUST change into their indoor shoes daily.
  • Morning snack break is at 10am and afternoon snack break is at 2pm. Snack breaks are 10 minutes long.
  • Please bring 2-3 snacks daily (nut free) and a water bottle (water cooler available onsite)
  • SNACK AND LUNCH CHECKS FOR NUTS ARE DONE EVERY DAY!!! PLEASE DO NOT BRING "WOW BUTTER" OR ALTERNATES TO NUT BUTTERS AS WE CANNOT CHANCE KNOWING WHAT IT IS, UNLESS TASTE-TESTED, WHICH WE DO NOT DO. WE DO NOT TAKE ANY CHANCES AND THEREFORE IF ANY OF THESE ARE BROUGHT TO CAMP WE WILL IMMEDIATELY DISCARD IT AND THE CAMPER WILL NOT HAVE A SNACK OR LUNCH TO REPLACE IT.

  • Daily fitness takes place from 11:30am-12:30pm over at our partnering business BodyWorx Vitality Inc, located 5ft to the right of our entrance. Campers will be escorted to BodyWorx by Façade Camp councillors who will remain to supervise and facilitate the fitness activities for the full hour and escort the campers back to Façade once fitness activities are over. Campers enjoy 1 hr of instructed fitness, daily.
  • After fitness, campers will have lunch
  • Campers must bring a Nut free lunch Monday-Thursday
  • Complimentary pizza lunch is provided on Fridays only.
  • Younger campers must be able to feed themselves and are required to eat their meals only during the designated lunch/snack times.
  • Camp ends at 3pm and campers must be picked up by no later than 3:10pm. Any later and students will be charged an additional fee for our extended hours program.
  • Campers must take all their artwork, knapsacks, shoes, water bottles and other personal belongings home every day. This includes bringing epi-pens to and from camp each day.
  • If campers do not complete their art activities each day, they can take them home to finish them. Our activities are carefully designed and organized to allow for all age groups to complete them in the time provided, but we understand that each camper has different abilities and skill sets and therefore if more time is needed, they can complete them at home at their own pace.

  • All younger campers are required to be able to use the restroom independently.
  • Parents are reminded to stay within the vestibule and reception area and to avoid coming into the art studio during drop off and pick up times. Our staff will assist the campers to collect their belongings upon arrival and pickup.
